# GTA Rideshare Trip Patterns, 2024 and 2025

Marcadot Space analysed monthly open-data files for private transportation company trips in the GTA. This edition uses **full calendar years 2024 and 2025 only** so growth and averages stay complete. Partial 2026 files are excluded.

## Key findings

- Full-year trips rose from 74,760,927 in 2024 to 87,068,044 in 2025 (**+16.5%**).
- Average daily trips in 2025: **about 238,543**.
- Full-year weighted average trip duration: **18.82 minutes** in 2025 (18.89 in 2024). Landing copy uses **about 18 minutes**.
- Friday led Monday to Friday volume; Saturday led the full week. Pickup volume peaked at **18:00**; longest average duration at **16:00**.
- Ward **10, Spadina-Fort York** led named pickup and drop-off wards. Toronto-to-Toronto share stayed near **81.5%**.
